Procademy can be used internationally. All translations can be managed independently and clearly. A course component can be linked to a number of translations. When making a change you can easily click through to the linked translations.
Step 1: Request procademy to activate the desired languages.
The following languages are available: Bulgarian, Danish, German, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Croatian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovenian, Slovakian, Spanish, Czech, Flemish and Swedish.
Step 2: You receive a message when the languages are activated
We will prepare the desired languages for you, and ensure that this has been implemented in all (automatic) e-mails, navigation elements as well as in the editor, so you can enter the translations in a pleasant way.
Step 1: Translate training
Once the preparation has been completed, you can get started with adding the translations.
Go to Editor, -> Procademy -> Courses
Then you search for the course you want to translate. You do not have to click on edit. Click on the blue plus of the relevant language you want to add. In the screenshot below you can see that for the Dutch ADN course an English translation is added by clicking on the right plus.
Click Copy content from Dutch
If you would like, you can copy the original Dutch content to the new course. The advantage of this is that you can easily put it in the right place by overwriting the Dutch content. (Over-copy-pasting)
Adjust the title of the course and place the country code behind the title
Now overwrite the Dutch title and place the country code behind the title for reference. For example "EN" for an English course.
Click Save & Publish
Now click on Save and publish. You have now created the course to which you will link the translated chapters (and/or parts).
Step 2: Translate chapters and/or parts
You can now translate the chapters/parts.
Go to Editor, -> Procademy -> Chapters
Then filter through a category or training. In the screenshot below you can see that the category Nascholing has been selected. Then click on Filter.
Click the plus in the chapter you want to translate
Click the plus in the first chapter of the relevant language for which you want to add the translation.
Click Copy content from Dutch
If you would like it, you can copy the original Dutch content to the new chapter. The advantage of this is that you can easily put it in the right place by overwriting the Dutch content. (Over-copy-pasting)
Vervang Replace the Dutch content with the translated learning material
Then replace the title and teaching material with the translations.
Link the chapter to the right course
Now connect the chapter to the right training. You can also only select a course that has been created in the same language.
Repeat this procedure with all chapters and/or parts
Repeat the above procedure with all chapters and/or parts.
Create new keys and place the country code behind the title of the test
Keys can not (yet) be linked to a specific language. Therefore, create new tests for the translated courses and add the questions again in the relevant language.
Set up the training structure of the translated program
Finally, drag the chapters, parts and if necessary. tests in the training structure of the translated study program in the right place. Note: only link reading content in the relevant language
